Growing Lime Tree from Seed Indoor
My 2nd attempt to grow lime tree indoor. This one I grow from seed is about 3 years old. Decided to re-pot it. Hopefully it will get healthier.

Rosemary Plants Updates | Spray Painting Pots
It has been a while since I last updated on my rosemary plants. 2 of the cuttings suffered some setbacks, I'm not sure exactly what happened as their leaves kept turning yellow. I heavily trimmed them back and now the new growth are healthy.
One of the cuttings are doing very well and I have already harvested a few times to make pasta sauce. I really should not have done so as it needs to grow more robust. Now I hope all 3 plants will grow big fast and branch out more.
For the re-potting I use normal garden soil. I ran out of homemade coffee compost. Will add that in a couple of weeks. Do you propagate rosemary herbs? Let me know how are they doing.

Potting Sage Cuttings
It has been a while since I last updated. Had a meeting at the National Gallery in Singapore and took some time to look around the building.
Got home and it was finally time to pot my Sage cuttings. I had waited quite a while for their roots to get more robust. I believe the sage I bought are "forced-grown", they will take a while to grow. Hopefully I will be able to use them in my cooking soon.

Growing Rosemary Plants | Adding Crushed Egg Shell
Just uploaded a video response for a few viewers on how I add crushed egg shells to my plants. I have mentioned before that I do not add commercial fertilizers to my plants. Instead I periodically add crushed egg shells, coffee grind, homemade compost ...etc....

Instagram Logo for Windows 10 (Mobile)
Instagram logo for Windows 10 phone finally undated. Was wondering how they would implement it for Windows 10 design language. Looks classy with set tile colour and transparency.

USB OTG (supercheap) | Does It Work? | Android | Windows 10
I have always wondered if those supercheap USB OTG I saw online work. Finally bought a couple on Aliexpress to test out. They cost only US$0.35 including shipping. How is it even possible? Unbelievable! Below is a quick video:

Windows 10 | Media Editing Apps
Just put together a quick video on some of the media editing apps I use daily. Other than the usual desktop apps like Adobe Creative Suites, Adobe Premiere Pro; I especially like these Windows store apps as they are light weight, easy to use for quick editing and accessible to anyone.

Oh well, I hope GrabTaxi will decide to make a universal app for Windows 10 devices eventually. There are already more than 200 millions devices running Windows 10.

First Run of 2016 | Cardio Fit
When it rained, the little snails come out to play. If you see them, move them, or they always get crushed by enthusiastic runners and cyclists.
Back on the track for my very first 10 km run of the year. I have been running for 18 months now, other than swimming, I find it the easiest way to stay fit and healthy.
What do you do to stay fit?

Industrial Design in Entertainment | Mike Hill
Happy New Year. It has been a great start to 2016 thus far. On new year day early morning, Microsoft Helpdesk helped me fixed a Cortana issue on my MacBookPro through remote access. And yes I installed Windows 10 on my MacBookPro☺. I come away thoroughly impressed with the service. Then had a delicious homemade breakfast with the family and a lovely dinner in an old neighbourhood. On reaching home that evening, I chance upon a Dharma talk by Ajahn Brahm from the Buddhist Society of Western Australia. My very first YouTube live stream Dharma talk!
For weeks, I have this lingering thought in my mind that 2016 is the year about connecting with people near and far, contributing, helping, sharing. If New Year Day is of any indication, I am off to a great start.
Bye for now. I leave you with a great talk on industrial design by Mike Hill. Watched this last night. So good!
